initial meeting
We start with a quick meeting in order to scratch the surface a bit to figure out some of your basic goals and what might be needed to get there. We’ll also talk about timeline, expectations and decide if we’re a good fit to move forward.
research
Having decided we’re a good match - we spend some time apart (we know, we’ll miss you too!) to do some research so we can get to know more about your industry as well as the competition. One of our main goals is to make sure that we’re setting you apart from all others (because you’re special ya know?) so we have to know your niche and who we’re up against. While we’re doing homework, we’ll ask you to do some too. We’ll send you a questionnaire that we’d like you to really dig deep and invest time on. The information you provide will give us insight into what you like and don’t visually, the voice to get your message across and your specific needs for the site. We’ll put everything together and game plan in the next step.
brainstorming
We come back together for the really fun part, a more in depth meeting where we really get to know the ins and outs of your business and brand identity. We learn your story, who you are and why your clients need to find you! You may already be fully branded and are represented perfectly or, you may need a little boost in order to wow the pants off of, well...everyone. Essentially, we make sure that your message is exactly what is being heard by the world. This includes reviewing your current copy, including SEO integration and all visual elements to ensure cohesion and clarity. We’ve truly got your back and make sure that you are putting your best self out there.
architecture
After we’ve gathered all the information we need, we’ll develop a sitemap and wireframe which are the blueprints for your site. We make sure we’re all on the same page and that we’ve got a good foundation for the site. We’ll touch base with you again to get approval and start moving forward on the site itself.
approve + launch
We then work hard at bringing your story to life and making sure every detail is right. We have you look over your new site and give us some constructive criticism (we promise not to be sensitive). We’ll go through the revision process with you to get it all exactly where you want it to be. We’ll do some final testing, implementation of more standard SEO and analytics and then…BLAST OFF, we launch your site and break out the bubbly because your success is our success!
